Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the individual operator (the “Operator”) who runs Plan-ish Go (the “Service”) and its users in connection with the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
① “Service” means all functionality provided by the Operator, including trip itinerary notes, place registration, distance checks (Route Check), and publishing/sharing trip plans. ② “User” means any member or non-member (including anonymous users) who uses the Service under these Terms. ③ “Member” means a person who uses the Service by logging in with an email or Google account. ④ “Trip plan” means the itinerary information a User registers, consisting of a trip title, dates, places, and notes.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
① The Operator posts these Terms on the Service so that Users can easily review them. ② The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. When amended, the Operator will state the effective date and reason for the change and post a notice on the Service at least 7 days before the effective date (or 30 days before, for changes that are unfavorable or material to Users). ③ If a User continues to use the Service after the amended Terms take effect, the User is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Description of the Service)
① The Service provides the following functionality: 1. Registering a trip title and dates, and managing a day-by-day itinerary (places and notes) 2. Registering places by searching a place name or pasting a map URL (to obtain coordinates) 3. Route Check, which uses simple coordinate-based distance calculations to flag how packed an itinerary looks 4. Publishing a trip plan (searchable) or sharing it via link (not searchable), and copying another user's published trip plan 5. Any additional functionality the Operator develops in the future ② The Service does not provide photo or video upload functionality — instead of uploading photos directly, Users may optionally leave an external link (e.g., Instagram) in a note. ③ Route Check is not precise turn-by-turn navigation or travel-time calculation; it is an approximate reference based on the straight-line distance between coordinates and may differ from actual travel routes and times. The map shown in the full-route view likewise displays an approximate line connecting the visit order, not an actual road route. ④ Place names, coordinates, and other location information shown by the Service are based on external data sources such as GeoNames and OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), and may be inaccurate or differ from reality.
Article 5 (Service Fees)
The Service is currently provided entirely free of charge, regardless of whether a User has registered as a member. The Operator may introduce advertising in the future to help cover server operation and maintenance costs, and will notify Users of any such change in advance.
Article 6 (Membership Registration and Use Without Registration)
① A User applies for membership by following the procedure set by the Operator (email or Google account verification), and membership is completed once the Operator accepts the application. ② The Service can also be used immediately via an anonymous session, without registering as a member. In this case, trip data is stored under an anonymous account tied to that browser/device. If the User later logs in with a real account, data created during the anonymous session does not carry over — the User switches to a new account. ③ The Operator may withhold or refuse acceptance of an application if it determines that the application impersonates another person, contains false information, or otherwise interferes with the operation of the Service.
Article 7 (User Obligations)
① Users must provide truthful information when registering and while using the Service. ② Users must not: 1. Impersonate or misuse another person's information 2. Interfere with the stable operation of the Service (e.g., abnormal bulk requests, reverse engineering) 3. Use or distribute another User's trip plan information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes against that User's wishes 4. Post content they create — such as reviews, comments, nicknames or public trips — that contains spam or advertising, abuse, hate or harassment, sexual content, other people's personal information, false information, or content that infringes others' rights 5. Engage in any act prohibited by applicable law or these Terms ④ Users can report content or users falling under item 4 above with the in-app “Report” feature, and can “Block” a user to stop seeing that user's content. The Operator reviews reported content and may hide or delete it or reset a nickname, and may restrict repeat offenders under Article 12. ⑤ If a User sets a trip plan to “Public” or “Shared via link,” the itinerary and notes of that plan (and, depending on the visibility settings, the budget) may become visible to other Users or to anyone who has the link — Users should be aware of this and configure these settings carefully.
Article 8 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
① The Operator may change all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons. ② The Operator may temporarily or permanently suspend the Service in unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters, system maintenance, or discontinuation of the Service; if the Service is permanently discontinued, the Operator will provide at least 30 days' advance notice on the Service. ③ Given that the Service is provided free of charge, the Operator is not liable for any damages a User incurs due to a change in or suspension of the Service, except where caused by the Operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Intellectual Property)
① Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Service belong to the Operator. ② Rights to data a User directly enters into the Service (trip titles, places, notes, plans, etc.) belong to that User. ③ Place data used by the Service (GeoNames) is attributed at the bottom of the Service under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Article 10 (Publishing, Sharing, and Copying Trip Plans)
① A User may switch a trip plan they registered between Public (searchable), Private, and Shared via link (not searchable, viewable only by those with the link) at any time. ② A trip plan set to Public or Shared via link may be copied by another User into their own trips; the copied data (plans, budget, etc.) belongs to the User who copied it. However, personal records left by the original User — such as “visited” checkmarks or actual amounts spent — are not copied. ③ Users must not register or publish, as part of a trip plan, content that includes another person's copyrighted work or personal information; the User who does so bears sole responsibility for any resulting liability.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
① The Operator is not liable when the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, suspension of service by a telecommunications carrier, or power outages. ② The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy of location information, Route Check, the full-route map view, or any other information provided by the Service, and is not liable for any damages arising from a User's trip planning or travel based on reliance on such information. ③ The Operator does not review the content of trip plans that Users publish or share in advance, and has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising from such content. ④ Except where otherwise required by applicable law, and except in cases of the Operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for any damages a User incurs in connection with the free Service.
Article 12 (Restriction of Use and Termination)
① If a User violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Operator may restrict the User's access to the Service or suspend/revoke membership after prior notice (or after the fact, in urgent cases). ② A Member may request termination of the service agreement at any time via the account-deletion feature within the Service or by contacting the Operator, and the Operator will process such a request without delay in accordance with applicable law.
Article 13 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
① In the event of a dispute relating to these Terms, the Operator and the User will make good-faith efforts to resolve it amicably through consultation. ② Any lawsuit arising from a dispute that cannot be resolved through consultation shall be filed with a court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. ③ These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on August 30, 2026.
